Annet Mahendru

Mahendru a Russian Indian mother is born in Afghanistan. She is fluent in German, Russian English and also French Persian and Hindi. Annet Mahendru was born to an Indian father as well as an Indian father and a Russian mother. An improvised performance she choreographed at the age of 11 which aired on German television, transformed her into a Russian dancer, who became a snow maiden. Following her graduation of New York's top High School, she was awarded her bachelor's in English degree from St. John's University. She took classes in acting with the HB Studios. However, she went on to study improv comedy at The Groundlings School. Her family was brought up in Kabul Afghanistan by a Hindu/Indian father Ghanshan Mahendru, as well as Russian-speaking mom Olga. Their parents split when she turned 13 years old young and was moved into East Meadow New York with her father.She stars alongside Matthew Rhys and Keri Russell on FX's The Americans. TV actress known for playing the former KGB agent Nina Sergeevna Krilova, on FX's The Americans. She also had recurring roles in Fox's The Following as well as the NBC show The Blacklist.
