Emily Irene VanCamp (Canadian actress) is most well-known for her roles as a lead actress in many television series however, she also has impressive roles in films. Her work is a hit on Canadian and American TV. At the age of Emily was 12, she began to become interested in acting after she visited her sister Katie while filming one of her films. When she realized her love for acting, she began to take classes in acting and going to auditions. Her first audition was for a couple of commercials before getting a part on the Canadian kids' horror TV show Are You Fearful of Darkness? In the show, she appeared only in one scene, without any dialogue. When she was 15 years old, she made her breakthrough after she became part of the WB series Glory Days. Emily's appearance on the WB show Glory Days which ended up being cancelled 9 episodes later, drew the attention and casting of Greg Berlanti from Dawson's Creek. Also a ballet dancer and photographer, Emily was previously ranked as a Teen to be one of their best actors under 20. Maxim placed her at number 51 in its Hot 100 of 2014.
